Research Grant
The purpose of the NUGA-sponsored Research Grant is to support the development of research in the field of urogynecology. NUGA is a non-profit committee of urogynecologists from all Nordic countries. We organize bi-annual meetings for urogynecologists and allied health professionals, emphasizing the latest updates in urology and urogynecology.
Our aim is also to give young scientists the opportunity to present their work at our meetings. The profits from the meetings are used to award Research Grants and prizes (e.g., prize for best abstract and the Ulmsten prize for the most promising young scientist).
Who can apply?
Researchers working within urogynecology and related fields across the Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden). Further eligibility criteria will be published when the call opens.
What we fund
Projects that advance clinical or basic science in urogynecology and pelvic floor disorders. Specific funding categories and allowable costs will be listed in the upcoming call text.
How to apply
Full application guidelines (templates, page limits, and submission link) will be posted here. Please prepare a concise project summary, objectives, methods, expected outcomes, timeline, and a brief CV for key personnel.
